Can Ergo distribute my brand/product in Southeast Asia?

Open tab

ERGO was set up as the go-to platform for discovering wonderful brands and products that make our life and our planet better.

We are the official distributor for a growing range of international brands - Stasher, W&P Porter and Bee's Wrap.

Our criteria for judging which homeware brands make it onto into our portfolio is simple.

- Does it make our life better – better designed, fun to use, better than less-sustainable or single-use alternatives?
- Is it best-in-class quality and durable / reusable – therefore minimising waste?

If your brand or product fits this criteria, please get in touch via the "Contact US" link below.

How do you properly clean a Stasher?

Open tab

How To Clean Your Stasher Bag
First things first: do not turn your Stasher bag inside out. Flipping your Stasher inside out to clean it like you would with a regular plastic baggie will degrade the strength of the bonded edges, and eventually your Stasher will rip open. We know it's tempting, but we don't recommend it.

What are the edges of a Stasher bag bonded with? We use the liquid form of the same pure platinum silicone to adhere the glossy and frosted sides together before the finished Stasher cures for the last time.

Wash Up
Cleaning your Stasher bags is actually pretty easy: just toss them into the dishwasher (top or bottom rack — either will do) or use warm soapy water. For a deep clean, we also like to use bottlebrushes to get any remaining particles out of the seal to prevent mold.

Repel Smells
Got some smells staying way past their welcome (like onions)? We've got a few ways to kick the fumes.

1. Soak your bag in a 50/50 warm water and vinegar bath for a few hours.
2. Bake in the oven on a baking sheet for eight minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Be sure to let your bag cool and use an oven mitt to handle your bags.
3. For tougher smells, double up and use both methods.

Say Goodbye To Stains
Stains happen, but you can use the power of the sun to kiss them goodbye: set your Stasher in sunlight for a few hours to naturally sun bleach stains (really!). This works great for tomato sauce, carrot, or watermelon stains, just to name a few.

Concerned about mold?
Prevent mold from popping up in the corners of your Stasher bag seal by rinsing out any and all particles after each use. Those small bottlebrushes we mentioned before come in real handy here!

Sometimes even when you give it a good cleaning, you may feel the need to sanitize. No problem: let your Stasher bathe in some vinegar or boiling water to sanitize.

Best way to dry your Stasher bag?
Sometimes Stasher bags need a little more drying time once they are washed by hand or in the dishwasher. We recommend using any non-sharp kitchen items to stand your bags on, including other bottles, cups, or paper towel holders. Our team also likes to use handy “pot lid organizers” to do the job! Just make sure to not turn your bag inside out when drying. When you let them air dry, sometimes you can get water spots on the silicone. They are completely harmless, just not as attractive as a crystal clear Stasher, so you can avoid these by giving your Stasher a quick wipe down with a clean towel.

Other tips for making your Stasher bags last

- Use colored Stasher bags to store like-colored foods and camouflage stains.
- Avoid using your bags to store sharp objects, and definitely don't use them as cutting boards.
- Avoid trapping moisture by storing your clean Stashers with the seals open.
- Don't force the opening to open farther than it does naturally. To open: hold your thumbs flat over each side of the seal and gently roll them down and away from each other. To close: squeeze out excess air to keep things super fresh, then press to seal.

What is a Bee's Wrap? How do use and clean it properly?

Open tab

What can I wrap?
Use the warmth of your hands to wrap Bee’s Wrap® around a piece of food or over a bowl or casserole dish. When Bee's Wrap cools—within seconds—it holds its seal. Use your Bee’s Wrap to wrap cheese, vegetables, bread, fruit, fresh herbs, and baked goods. Bee’s Wrap is not recommended for use with raw meat or fish.

How long does Bee’s Wrap last?
Bee's Wrap lasts for up to a year with proper care and regular usage. You'll know your wrap has reached the end of its useful life in the kitchen when it has worn thin and soft and has trouble sticking to itself. At this time, you can cut your wrap into strips and add to your compost pile, or use as a natural and effective fire starter.

How do I care for my wraps?
Easy! Just wash in cool water with a mild dish soap. Then, drape your wraps over your drying rack or our Vermont Maple Bee's Wrap drying rack to air dry. Remember to avoid all sources of heat, including warm water, microwaves, ovens, hot cars, and covering bowls of not-quite-cooled leftovers.

What is Bee’s Wrap made of?

Bee's Wrap is made of GOTS-certified organic cotton, sustainably sourced beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin. This combination of ingredients creates a malleable food wrap that can be used again and again.
ORGANIC COTTON
BEESWAX
JOJOBA OIL
TREE RESIN

Does Bee’s Wrap have a scent?
Yes. When you first open your package of Bee's Wrap you will smell the beeswax. The scent will fade after the first few uses and washes, until you can no longer detect it. The beeswax scent will change with the season in which it was harvested. Beeswax carries the scent of the flowers from which the bees harvested pollen. Most of us enjoy the scent, but there are a few people who are more sensitive to beeswax and do not prefer it.

What is the Vegan Bee's Wrap made of?

The new vegan wraps are made with familiar plant-based materials. We substituted the beeswax for candelilla wax, which is a plant native to the Southwest and Mexico and has properties similar to beeswax. We also use soy wax, organic coconut oil, and tree resin, giving you a pliable food wrap with the same outstanding look and feel as our beeswax line.

What size is best for my needs?
We produce several sizes of Bee’s Wrap. If you are new to our product, we recommend starting with our assorted set of three sizes, which includes one each of our small (7" x 8"), medium (10" x 11"), and large (13" x 14") wraps. Experiment with these in your kitchen to determine which size is most useful for you.

Bee's Wrap Sizes
Small: 7” x 8” - Wrap half of a lemon, the end of a cucumber, half of an onion (Bee’s Wrap won’t hold the smell), half of an avocado, a small bowl, carrot sticks or other snack items.

Medium: 10” x 11" - Cover a bowl, half of a sandwich, baked goods, cheese, or half of a cabbage or cantaloupe.

Large: 13” x 14” - Cover a large bowl, pie dish, celery, cheese, sandwich, or half of a watermelon.

Large Sandwich with tie: 13” x 13” - Perfect for building your sandwich, wrapping and then using as a place mat. (Also great for cheese, snacks, a few carrot sticks, a muffin — the possibilities are endless.)

XL Bread: 17” x 23” - Great for wrapping bread: large enough for a large loaf of sandwich bread or specialty breads. This wrap is great for covering dough that is rising, an extra large bowl or casserole dish, and also serves as a dough mat for rolling out pie crusts, cookie dough or other baked goods.

XXL Roll: 14" x 52" - Trim to the size you need! Extra large format allows you to wrap everything from fresh rhubarb, half a watermelon, and a casserole dish, to snacks, sandwiches, lemons, and everything in between.
